  •   Melanie's home was simply amazing. It really is a time capsule and so nicely appointed. We would absolutely stay there again. Autumn is a wonderful time to visit.

  •   We truly loved staying here. The area was safe and we enjoyed walking our dogs. The house was comfortable and Melanie was a wonderful host! We had a great time trying the local restaurants. You can’t go wrong staying here. Very convenient to everything.

  •   Melanie’s place was amazing, everything was clean, neat and organized. She gave us a tour around the house which has a 60’s style, very cool. I would def recommend!

  •   The Good Old Days Home is a wonderful place to stay. It is like a Belle Vernon and western PA museum and provided my family with hours of fun discovering the numerous things from the past. Melanie's hospitality was much more than expected. The house, cottage, and yard were immaculate, and there were even baked good from Valdiserri's, a BV institution that was a big part of my youth. I highly recommend this lovely home for anyone traveling to the Belle Vernon area.

  •   This was our second time stay. The first was in the summer so we didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but still had a great time. This was in January so we were indoors more and still had a great time. You could spend an entire week here and not tire of the place. And Melanie is a Supreme Hostess. You cannot go wrong but the place is addictive.
